What is your policy on Spam?

We are committed to the issue of Spam and our conditions of service require compliance with current UK law. Please visit our Anti-Spam Policy page for more details.

Won't my e-mail provider get annoyed with all the e-mails I send out?

Whenever you send e-mails from iQ-Mail, they are sent through our dedicated e-mail servers. So, although every e-mail will appear to have come from you, there is no impact on your provision of e-mail from your normal service providers.

Do I need any special programs or hosting to run iQ-Mail?

iQ-Mail is designed to run online within any recent Internet browser. We test and run campaigns on a number of current systems, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari. If you do not currently have a browser, or are upgrading, we recommend using Firefox.

Wouldn't a standalone, off-the-shelf product be better?

By using iQ-Mail from an online console, you benefit automatically from our frequent product upgrades and optimisation. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our service and for new features to add, this means you are never stuck with an obsolete or out-dated product as can become the case with off-the-shelf software. You also benefit from the use of our dedicated e-mail server for your campaigns.

How do I know my message will be delivered? Or my campaign will be successful?

We have extensive knowledge in the implementation of e-marketing, so can pass this knowledge onto help ensure your campaign not only captures your contact's attention, but runs smoothly from a technical standpoint. If we are designing your campaign material, be it e-mail templates, flyers or e-commercials, we always use best-practice and adhere to current guidelines in its production. We also work closely with ISPs to ensure that any mail from our system is not classed as spam or blacklisted, and arrives unaltered in your contact's inbox. Have a look out our tips on getting the most from e-mail marketing.

Is there any minimum contract with iQ-Mail?

We offer very flexible packages for iQ-Mail, from single use, single campaign contracts, through to annual subscriptions. Please contact us for further details.

How is my use of iQ-Mail charged?

iQ-Mail is charged based on what you actually use, in terms of the number of e-mails sent. The actual price per email will depend on your subscription, total number sent, etc. Please contact an account handler for more information.

Can you provide lists of e-mail addresses/contacts to me?

We do not currently provide contacts/list data for campaigns. Within iQ-Mail it is very straight-forward to import your own data, and tools are also provided to allow online sign-up from a form on your website. If you are sourcing data for a campaign, you should ensure it is as up-to-date as possible and that it adheres to current UK law. Please contact us for further details or check our Anti-Spam Policy.

Does iQ-Mail support attachments?

Yes. When composing an e-mail there will be an option to upload one or more attachments. These are then placed on our server, rather than sent with the e-mail. Within the e-mail you will need to provide a link to the correct URL to download them. Accessing attachments in this way keeps down the file size of your e-mails, reduces the likelihood of it being classed as spam and allows tracking of who opens the attachment.
